"I did my GP training at Loch Lomond Surgery and liked the area and practice so much I was lucky enough to be able to stay on as a salaried GP. 

 

Clyde North is a fantastic place to train. The patient cohort is really mixed. I have an interest in paediatrics and sexual health, and have managed to develop this throughout my training.

 

The local teaching is really good, with days away from the practice where you get the opportunity to meet and get to know the other trainees and trainers. It is generally a very supportive and personalised environment, and all the trainers are extremely approachable.

 

It is an easy and quick commute from the West End and the drive in with Ben Lomond in the distance is lovely. I have enjoyed exploring the beauty of the National Park, and frequently go running after work around Loch Lomond

 

I would certainly recommend Clyde North as a place to train."
